Caring for Pendants
To ensure full bond strength, we recommend a 24-hour waiting period after filling and sealing before the pendant is worn. To maintain bond, pendant
should not be immersed in water.
Brass, Pewter & Bronze Pendants – Some skin types may react to certain metals. A coat of lacquer has been applied to
help avoid this. If tarnishing occurs, a soft cotton polish cloth and cream will restore shine.
Silver & 14k Gold Pendants – The pendant’s shine can be restored as needed with silver cleaner and a cotton cloth to
avoid scratching. Fine scratches that can appear from wear may be buffed out by a professional jeweler.
Plated Pendants – Gold vermeil pendants are plated, contact with skin or polishing cream may cause gold plate to wear off. Shine
may be restored with water and a soft cotton polish cloth to avoid scratching.
Titanium Pendants – Titanium can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before wearing.
Stainless Steel Pendants – The pendant’s shine can be restored as needed with polish cream and a cotton cloth to avoid scratching.

A layer of silicone has been applied to ronze and white bronze pendants to avoid tarnishing. Shine may be restored to tarnished silver and
14k gold pendants by using a polish cream and a soft cloth.
Restore the shine to gold-plated vermeil pendants with a damp cloth. Polish cream should not be used on plated gold pendants, as this
may remove finish. A jeweler can remove scratches from brass, pewter, bronze, silver and 14k gold pieces by buffing if needed.
To maintain bond, pendant should not be immersed in water.
People’s skin types react differently to all types of metals and may cause metal to tarnish. This is not uncommon and shine may be restored
with polish cream on sterling silver.
We strongly recommend all pendants be sealed with glue.

Please read complete directions before filling.
- Remove cap or screw from pendant.
- Place funnel in neck of pendant.
- Using a small spoon, fill the pendant no more than 90% full. Volume of contents will vary with pendant size.
- After filling, remove funnel and clear remains from the neck of pendant with a pick. and by taking cap/screw on and off.
- Lay pendant on polish cloth while preparing glue.
- With a pick, spread glue carefully inside neck of pendant, being very careful not to get any glue on body of pendant or hands. Glue
bonds quickly!
- Replace cap of pendant, being careful to position cap properly. Some pendants may have to be left loose a quarter turn to have the loop line
up properly. This is not a concern because the glue will seal the pendants.
- Line up eye of cap so necklace chain can be threaded from one side of pendant to the other. See instructions. (If pendant is threaded front
to back, chain will twist and pendant will not hang correctly.)
Additional Notes
Glue comes with first order, we will send more upon request. We recommend a 24-hour waiting period before the pendants are worn
to ensure full bond strength.

cylinder cap. Slide glass cylinder into filigree casing, press and hold 1 minute. Apply a small amount of glue to inside base of silver cap. Screw
on cap to secure cylinder.
Pendants with screws are filled by removing screw from the pendants. Glue is applied to inside of opening and screw is replaced.
